Escritoire

I trained as a classical ballet dancer while growing up and pursued that profession for two years after graduating from college. At some point, probably while flapping swan arms or waving garlands for the --nth time, I realized that I needed more.

 

I needed to engage with the world's diverse art, culture, and people. I couldn't do this from a single stage. So I turned to the one thing I'm good at besides dancing: writing. Because good writing...novels, stories, memoirs, movie scripts, case studies, what have you...can take you anywhere, teach you anything. 

 

Maybe I'll find an influential voice. Maybe I'll help someone find their's. 

 

Either way, writing will be my passage to the world.
